Not too long...

I haven't done a proper update for a little while now (not that the Family ties theme song and Especially for You lyrics posts aren't proper), so I thought I'd do a mini update type thing just in case anyone at all was interested.

I guess the most exciting thing of all to have happened in the past almost ever is that I found out I'm going to Kenya with the Project 1:8 Mission Team at the end of the year! I'm so excited! And I'm just getting more and more excited the more I think of it! Argh!!!

I'm at holidays from uni this week, but I'll be working and going to court so it won't be much of a holiday anyway. But I like work so that's alright. I've got plenty of assignments around the corner as well. :S

It's the Easter weekend at the moment. :D I'm going to the Easter Show today for the first time ever, so that's a bit exciting, and it means I'll have to have a shower soon, so I won't be able to write a thesis (YAY!). I spent Easter eve at Dina's house which turns out to be Palm Sunday eve for those of the Orthodox persuasion. So we sat around making donkeys (or a singular 'donkey' for some of us), and Yazz (the only way is up) made a crazy palm tree weavey flower leaf thing. It was cool. She's a master of the palms. Then we dropped Tash off at Broadway, and some creepy guy in a ute said his friend thought Dina was pretty. Then they drove off into the night. It was a pretty gutless attempt on their part. Anyway, we made it an early night because the next morning we had to be up for the Sunrise service at six. I woke up at six thirty, and thought Dad had gone without waking me up so I was a bit miffed, but it turns out we all slept in and we had a good laugh about it, as you do. Last night we went to Maroubra Junction Uniting Church. The service but nice, different and unusual, but after the service everyone seemed to avoid us like the plague. :S

And I should also mention that Dad was planning to be an Easter scrooge and just give us blocks of chocolate instead of Easter eggs. ??? Crazy old Maurice. Always good for a laugh.

Oh, and last week I got tested for Ciliacs disease. I won't find out for a little while though. I might have a disease! That's exciting.
